Put these apps to work for your wedding
As technology keeps advancing, more and more apps are finding their way into weddings around the world. They can help with planning, with finding inspiration, and some can even be used during the celebration itself. It’s great to see the wedding industry embracing new technology - it often makes planning and pulling off your dream wedding so much easier. We looked into a range of apps and put together a list of the ones we think are genuinely useful for any bride-to-be. Below, we cover five apps we believe are worth your attention, because they can be a real asset throughout the wedding-planning process. For each one, we’ll share a quick rundown and a link to get you there.

Design your stationery in Canva
🎨 Canva - if you need to create any kind of graphics for your wedding, this app is for you. Canva lets you design gorgeous place cards, invitations, and favor tags for free. If you’re up for it, you can put together your entire wedding stationery suite here yourself. It’s easy to use yet remarkably powerful: upload your own photos, choose from countless fonts, browse other people’s designs for inspiration, and export everything ready for print. If you’re wondering how to put together DIY wedding invitations or any other stationery piece, this app has you covered.

Find wedding inspiration on Pinterest
💡 Pinterest - in our opinion, this is the best place on the internet to look for inspiration. It’s practically a wedding platform in its own right, given how much wedding-related content gets shared there. Pinterest revolves around beautiful photos and graphics, so you can browse ideas for literally every part of your wedding, from hall decor to dress accessories. Many users build entire boards around a single theme too - you might find a whole collection of ideas just for guest books, or just for wedding dresses. We keep our own boards and pins there as well; click the link below to find our profile. You’ll also find plenty of ideas for budget-friendly wedding attractions on our blog!

Proofread your wedding texts with Ortograf
💬 Ortograf - another app that can genuinely come in handy while planning a wedding. If you’re writing your own stationery, drafting messages, or filling out invitations, it’s worth running everything through this app first. Ortograf checks your text for mistakes and suggests corrections. It’s worth double-checking every piece of stationery, and even the messages you send, so you can be confident there isn’t a stray typo or error hiding in there.

Take control of your wedding to-do list with Trello
✔️ Trello - losing track of everything on your wedding to-do list? Worried you’ll forget something important? Instead of scribbling notes on scraps of paper, use Trello to turn your tasks into digital cards you can track from start to finish. Set up columns for different stages - planned, in progress, done - and move cards along as you go. You can even share the board with your partner and assign them a few tasks of their own! 😄 It’s a genuinely helpful wedding-planning app, and there’s real satisfaction in dragging a finished task into the “done” column.
